Edit-A-Thons
An edit-a-thon (also spelled editathon) is an event where people work together, in person or online, to build content on Wikipedia. These events include basic training for new editors and support throughout the event to make the editing experience more comfortable for everyone. The events called “editatona” are edit-a-thons where the participants are only women and the content created in them is only about women. In WikiCMx we have organized a series of events to create and improve biographical content of people in science.
